Level One
A novice warrior, the first level specialist chooses to focus their attention on one weapon. While this limits them somewhat in terms of flexibility, it allows them to perfect their chosen weapon above and beyond all other classes. At this level the specialist chooses a weapon to specialize in (sword or bow being the most common) and begins basic training.
Pre-Requisites for Lv.1 Specialist: None
Skills: 3
Level Two
While the specialist's training regimen is strict and often tedious, this tedium contributes to muscle memory and helps the specialist learn their chosen weapon with twice the normal speed. So it is that at the second level the specialist is already practiced with their weapon, if still a beginner for all intents and purposes, it becomes obvious they won't be for long.
Pre-requisites for Lv.2 Specialist: 100 posts and 3 months at game
Skills: 3
Level Three
At the third level the specialist is already of intermediate proficiency with their chosen weapon, which would take any other warrior another level or so of training to achieve. While training in their weapon of choice does not slack by any means, some determined specialists will also choose to endure some basic dagger training at the third level. While they can only learn daggers at the ordinary speed and not the advanced speed of their primary weapon, it is the only supplementary weapon a specialist can learn without considerable trouble.
Pre-requisites for Lv.3 Specialist: 300 posts and 6 months at game
Skills: 3
Level Four
The fourth level specialist is somewhere between intermediate in their chosen weapon and advanced. While not quite an expert, they are talented enough that many an adventuring party feels their presence is help rather than hindrance and is glad to have them. At this level the specialist may begin training some young novice in the basics of swordsmanship for a small fee, but cannot yet teach more than beginner's techniques.
Pre-requisites for Lv.4 Specialist: 500 posts and 9 months at game
Skills: 3
Level Five
Advanced in their weapon of choice to the point that any other warrior of the seventh level would be an approximate match for them at it, the fifth level specialist is an adventurer and sometime teacher when the adventures don't come as often as they should. While their own training continues most fifth level specialists are now of intermediate proficiency with daggers.
Pre-requisites for Lv.5 Specialist: 800 posts and 1 year at game
Skills: 2
Level Six
Many of the legendary warriors come from this level of specialization. It is said the sixth level specialist has god-like speed and agility, and is far younger than his match elsewhere. However, swordsmen are weak against range weaponry, bowmen weak against close combat. A rare few determined specialists will begin the tedious effort of training in another weapon here, but can only do so in half-steps and will NEVER exceed the intermediate level with it. Some feel it is worth the effort even if there is very little gain.
Pre-requisites for Lv.6 Specialist: 1200 posts and 1.5 years at game
Skills: 2
Level Seven
The seventh level specialist is capable of feats with their weapon of choice that many feel should not be physically possible. Advanced in daggers, but not exceeding any expectations, and possibly stumbling awkwardly through beginner's training of another weapon if they so chose, the seventh level specialist is often a teacher in stints and a prize for any adventuring party to get their hands on.
Pre-requisites for Lv.7 Specialist: 1600 posts and 2 years at game
Skills: 2
Level Eight
The eighth level specialist often finds him/herself on rather dangerous adventures. Why? Because no one else can afford to pay them what they're worth. Practically deified in their weapon of choice if you ask a random passer-by, the eighth level specialist will claim they still have a long way to go in their training-though most average adventurers will be hard pressed to find any flaws in their craft.
Pre-requisites for Lv.8 Specialist: 2100 posts and 3 years at game
Skills: 1
Level Nine
The ninth level adventurer is often an adventurer who is in it for honor, or justice, or just to sate their boredom. At this level the adventurer isn't particularly likely to be strapped for cash, with students on every side of him/her just begging to be trained, most of whom get turned down. Some such specialists put their money into opening training schools, but most are so used to a life on the road they are loathe to forfeit the freedom of it. Many ninth level specialists serve on and off as bodyguards for nobility and other important political figures.
