As a player in the lands of Edarin, you may, if you so choose, advance the level of your character(s). While you are not required to do so, leveling up your characters allows you to gain more skills and in some cases (dependant upon your job class) more money.

To request a new level, certain requirements must be fulfilled. The first is your number of posts, which can be found in your user profile. Your post count will only go up for in-character posts. Post count has been disabled in the ooc forums to ensure that you are gaining experience for your actual roleplaying. The second is time spent at the game—this is reference to how much real time you have spent with us at the Chronicles of Edarin RPG and can also be found in your user profile. While this may seem trivial to some players, as some of you may achieve your necessary post count long before this time has passed, most will not: we feel the requirements are reasonable. Here at Edarin, we believe there are some things that can only be learned over time and interacting both in and out of character with other players and staff members who have more experience with the game, and also those who are just starting out and need your advice. We highly encourage this interaction and feel it helps to improve your role-playing ability. As such, there will be no exceptions. All players must meet all requirements as noted on the Class Pages.

Players will be required to submit a request for your new levels to the Requests and Approvals Forum on our boards. An administrator will look over your in-character posts and determine whether or not to approve the level. The administrative staff will be checking to see that you have displayed an understanding of the skills of your previous level and that you are able to interact well with other players. If you are denied your next level, the administrator is required to give you a justifiable reason and inform you when you may re-request the level. No one will be denied their new level without a justifiable reason, but we do request patience. It takes time to read through posts and come to a decision. The requests submitted first will be dealt with first.
